Appearance: 5'4" in height, built slender like her mother but a bit more wiry. Kiseki's hair is long and fine, with a deep purple hue. Her eyes are a bright amber-honey color.

Regular Outfit: Kiseki usually wears a black skirt with a ruffled hem in Spanish gypsy style, with a bright red sleeveless shirt worn under a denim jacket. She's fond of headscarves and odd jewelry, as well.

Personality: Kiseki is a rather broody girl who enjoys the company of her friends, and few other people. She has what her more polite teachers call a 'creative' or 'artistic' temperament and she spends much of her time lost in her own little world of art or music, or more obscure arts like tarot. She definitely has a reputation as "that odd girl" among those who don't know her.

In reality, Kiseki is sharp-witted and clever, and just as sharp-tempered if she has a mind to be. She enjoys the company of her friends, but gets along fine on her own. Her independence is an important part of her, but so is her loyalty--she'll do anything for someone who truly needs it.

Social Life: A few close friends. Kiseki can get along easily by herself, or with her selected company. Either way, she's fine. She's not extremely popular on a wide, general basis and not by any stretch of the imagination a 'social butterfly'. She prefers to keep company with those who are willing to take the time to get to know -her-.

Dreams & Goals: To be a performing artist

History: Kiseki was conceived shortly before her father left on a space mission and died in a ship accident explosion. As a result, she was born in March and never knew her father. Kiseki was raised by her mother Rei and her brother, not really understanding her brother's sulky demeanor when she was little but by and by grasping it as she grew older. She began to greatly regret the fact she'd never known her father, but grew angry at her older brother for continually grousing over the situation instead of taking action against his pain.

As much as her brother began to take on aspects of his father's personality, Kiseki became more like her mother. She took interest in the spiritual and artistic, painting and learning what she could on the arts of divination and expression. One night, she tried to read a friend's fortune in tea leaves and grew frustrated when all she could see was the form of a swan. After her friend teased her and left, she dumped the contents of the cup angrily out her window, to find a black swan with gold wingtips resting outside. The swan surprised her by telling her of her destiny as the Mars Senshi. When her mother didn't come home that night, Kiseki decided the swan, Apsaras, wasn't an illusion and accepted her duties, dedicating herself to finding her mother.

Color: Red

Fuku: Mars's primary color is red and her secondary is lavendar. Her footwear is a pair of boots that are slightly less than knee-high length and are red rimmed with the light lavender color. Her gloves extend midway up her arm, and her earrings are a pair of small, thin gold hoops with a red bead strung on each.

Henshin Stick: A deep purple crystal rod, about 5 inches long, tipped with a red crystal star with the Mars symbol reflecting inside.

Henshin Phrase: Mars Fire Evolve

Henshin Sequence: Kiseki spins around, flipping her henshin rod in her hand and shouts her henshin phrase. When the last words are spoken, her body is blotted out by bright spots of falling light that suddenly erupt into a fireworks-like display-much like an explosion of colors and flame. With a final large burst of red and bright purple, the exploding colors collapse into streams of fire that swirl back towards her, leaving her in her fuku.

Challenge Phrase: "I am Sailor Mars, guided by the flame of justice and ready to make you BURN!!!"

Weapon or Tool: Mars Spirit Star, a naginata (an ancient Japanese noblewoman's weapon) with a hard red crystal shaft and black and purple ribbons.

Powers:
Mars Spiral Blaze!: Kiseki makes a double pirouette, arcing her arms back in a wide, wing-like movement. At the end of her pirouette, she sweeps one arm around to the side and back to the front of her quickly, punching forward with both hands open-palmed. Twin streams of fire fly from her hands, spinning around each other.

Mars Burning Tantra!: Kiseki poses, raising her arms crossed slightly over her head, and sings three clear notes in ascending order. With each note, a swirl of fire encircles her and continues to until the last of the three notes, when she drops her arms in a final high-pitched descending scale, releasing a wave formed of fire at her opponent.

Mars Beautiful Spirit Inferno!: Kiseki calls upon the spirit of her guardian, Apsaras, and raises her naginata over her head while the swan circles, channeling flame energy. With a final flipping and spinning motion, she drives the point of the naginata into the ground, releasing a full 360-degree circle of lava and flame, releasing spectral black feathers into the air as it does so. This attack takes up a lot of her personal energy, as well as her guardian's.
