Instructional Strategies
1. Pair work to recite the above multiplication tables. A recites timetable to B
and B listens and to correct A if necessary. After that B recites and A listens.
2. Use flash cards to provide frequent practice on mental calculation.
e.g.
3. Distribute to pupils the courseware Maths Blaster.
4. Guide pupils to start the Maths Blaster, using the projection screen.
5. Guide the pupils how to select and play Trash Zapper for Multiplication at Level 3.
Pupils to play for 10 minutes.
6. Guide pupils to practise Multiplication at level 3 using Maths Blaster.
7. Guide pupils to quit Maths Blaster.
8. Pupils to complete Ex 28 of Maths Worksbook for written work.
