- Computer laboratory with at least 22 multimedia computers
- LCD projector
Instructional Strategies
- In pairs, pupils recall and tell each other their experience of a concert they had attended. Refer to PETS Coursebook Page 102 for guidelines.
- where the concert was held
- what type of concert it was
- when it was held
- which items you enjoyed most
- why you liked them
- Pupils then share their experiences with another pair of pupils to gather more ideas.
- Go through ‘ Useful Words and Ideas’ on Pages 98 - 99 of PETS Coursebook 6B
( Word Webs with "Music" and "Dance" ) to revise vocabulary that can be used.
- Using LCD projector, demonstrate how Creative Writer can be used to do the task.
- Using ideas gathered, pupils, working in pairs, begin writing using Creative Writer.
- When pupils have finished, demonstrate, using LCD projector, how they can use
Speller and Replacer ( Thesaurus ) features in the program to edit their work.
- Pupils to save work for follow-up in the next lesson.
- Pupils to print out work for teacher’s assessment.
