1. Introduction Activity |

Using ‘Round Robin’ get pupils to fill in Worksheet 1. |

Discuss answers with pupils with reference to the Coursebk. |

Recapitulate what they have learnt about a balanced diet, |

|
and the various healthy ways in which food can be cooked. |
|
|
2. Revise with pupils how to use the Courseware and instruct |
[2] – [5] |

them to select the programme ‘To eat or not to eat’. |

3. Each pupil has to select at least 5 snacks from the programme |
|
|
and read the explanation of each snack carefully. |

|

4. Get pupils to write down the main points of each explanation. |

5. Pupils to pair up to share and discuss their selections of |

|
snacks. |
|
|
6. Closure |

Get pupils to complete Worksheet 2 and then to share their |

answers with the class. |

7. Follow-up Activity |

Pupils to plan for a party in their groups, using the information they have obtained to select some healthy snacks. |
