1) Introduction :

a) Recapitulate different kinds of crimes. Discuss crimes similar to

the lesson.

    1. Ask pupils if they have heard of Sherlock Holmes and Doctor

Watson.

c) Find answers to the questions : What was the crime ? Where did it happen ? When did it happen ? Who was the victim ? Who were the suspects ? How did it happen ? What are the clues ?

2) Development :

a) Introduce pupils to courseware "Pets 4 – Unit 9" and show pupils how to navigate the courseware.

b) Pupils work individually to access "The Adventure of the Priory School".

Pair work :

Pupils to work in pairs and find answers to Pets 4B ‘Responding to Fiction – Worksheet No. 1’.

 

  1. Conclusion :

Pupils to complete Pets 4B ‘Responding to Fiction - Worksheet 2’ individually.
