Instructional Strategies

  1. Recapitulate on the previous lesson on "compound words". Pupils are to give other examples.
  2. Explain to pupils how to complete the worksheet :
  1. Pupils are to use the courseware to view the compound words and to select five.
  2. Pupils are to list them in the worksheet and construct sentences using these words.
  3. Pupils are to list down three other compound words that are not found in the courseware or the Coursebook.
  4. Pupils are to construct sentences with these compound words.
  1. Pupils are to read up the sentences that they have constructed to the class.
  2. Peers are to edit the sentence construction.
  3. Submit work for teacher to check.
