Instructional Strategies :

1. Get half of the class to sit in front before briefing starts.

2. Get class to pair up to do a Think-Pair-Share. Teacher will click on the ‘Tour’ button on the main menu (Zoo Map) and click on the globe for the biome tour. Teacher explains that from the pictures of Savanna and Tundra, pupils are to tell each other what they think the conditions, the animals and the plants are like in those biomes.

3. Get 2 pupils to share with class their views. (10 mins)

4. Teacher to demonstrate the following procedure: (10 mins)

5. IT monitors to collect the CDs and give out to pupils in their row.

6. Pupils to do their worksheets individually. Inform them the specific time they have to complete the activity. (30 mins)

7. At the end of the lesson, the IT monitors will collect back and check all CDs. Teacher to do the final checking. (5 mins)

8. Teacher to do a closure and explains that as a follow-up activity, pupils are to do a mind-map (as a group) to classify animals according to their biomes to reinforce the concept of habitat and community. (5 mins)
