Introduction 10 mins

1. Pupils to refer to their Coursebook P44 & P45

They are to read silently the words and phrases that are used to describe each of the activities listed.

2 Teacher elicits from pupils other words or phrases that can be used to describe each of the activities.

Development 15 min

1. Pupils to refer to P 46
2. Look at the pictures. For each group of 4 pupils, teacher assigns a picture for the group to think and write down on paper suitable words and phrases to describe the occasion or the activity.

3. The groups to read out to the others what they have written.
4. Pupils from the other groups to contribute their ideas if any.

Conclusion 25min

1. Pupils to select one activity or occasion.
2. Pupils to write a letter to a friend about this activity or occasion using the 'Creative Writer'.
