Instructional Strategies

  1. Present the topic on Perpendicular Lines, using the courseware Zarc’s Primary
  2. Maths Adventure 4A.

    Pause after Stage 1 of presentation.

  3. Get the pupils to look for examples of perpendicular lines around them.
  4. Pupils can use a set square or a protractor to check the right angles.

  5. With the use of a set square or a protractor, get the pupils to work in pairs for
  6. 10 minutes and record their answers in Worksheet (1).

  7. Get the pupils to work in pairs and complete the exercise in the courseware.
  8. Get the pupils to do Workbook 4A Pt 2 Ex 54 Pg 41 & 42.
  9. Get the pupils to do Worksheet (2) as an enrichment activity.
