Instructional Strategies

  1. Get pupils to observe gift wrappers and identify the possible grid lines. Draw the grid lines using a marker. Highlight to pupils that grid lines are drawn before forming repeat patterns.
  2. Explain to pupils that they are going to form repeat patterns using the courseware, Crayola Art Studio.

Demonstrate to pupils :

Pupils to practise drawing grid lines-vertical and horizontal lines.

  1. Pupils work in pairs to browse through STICKER and select a picture suitable for the theme. They share and tell each other and the class the reason for their selection.
  2. Explain function of tools.
