Instructional Strategies
- Get pupils to observe gift wrappers and identify the possible grid lines. Draw the grid lines using a marker. Highlight to pupils that grid lines are drawn before forming repeat patterns.
- Explain to pupils that they are going to form repeat patterns using the courseware, Crayola Art Studio.
Demonstrate to pupils :
- How to access Crayola Paint Program
- How to draw straight lines by holding down the mouse and the CTRL key simultaneously
- Samples of work done.
Pupils to practise drawing grid lines-vertical and horizontal lines.
- Pupils work in pairs to browse through STICKER and select a picture suitable for the theme. They share and tell each other and the class the reason for their selection.
- Explain function of tools.
5. Pupils to work individually

- Choose the black and white version of stickers
- Form repeat patterns
- Save work in Gallery
6. Appreciation
Pupils move round to appreciate work done by peers.
