Tell pupils to refer to PETS Coursebook 2B in USEFUL WORDS AND IDEAS Pg. 23 and discuss with them the different homes of animals. Tell pupils that they are going to read an electronic book about a farm. They are going to meet a girl and her animal friends. Demonstrate to pupils how to switch on the computer, load the CD-ROM and call up the electronic book by typing their name.

Individual Work Ask pupils to think of animals they know, where they live and the kind of food they eat. Pair Work Ask pupils to take turns to practise using the mouse to start the story. Listen to the story once through. Read along with the reader and take note of the different animals that come for lunch. Note the food each animal eats. |
