Instructional Strategies
- To read the story " Sizzle Izzle Crackle Pop" to the class via Powerpoint.
- Discuss the story
- Discuss the different causes of fire in school and at home through the use of the slides in a powerpoint presentation. ( Think – pair – share )
- Pupils to speak to their partners and suggest ways in which they can help to prevent fires at home and in school. ( Circle of knowledge )
- Pupils will now make use of the Creative Writer to list down ways in which they can prevent fires at home and in school.
- In conclusion, pupils will have to complete workbook exercise 14.
