Instructional Strategies:
- Pupils to work in groups. Each group is given a worksheet with a list of endangered animals to research among the groups.
- Teacher to show the pupils where they can locate the information – to go to the Library section of the software and locate these animals under the endangered animals section.
- Pupils to do individual research for about 20 - 25 minutes. They are allowed to print out the pictures and write out which they have found.
- Pupils then meet in their groups to share the information which they have gathered individually. Using the vanguard sheet, they paste their pictures and findings to make a chart. They are also to answer the two questions at the end of the worksheet and present it on the chart.
- These charts will then be displayed in class at the end of the lesson.
