Pupils should be able to give the past tense of a given word in a blank in a sentence or in a cloze passage.

LSC Classroom with 3 Notebook computers
Instructional Strategies :
1: Using flashcards, teacher recaps the past tense of verbs, flashing each verb form for the pupils to call out the past tense of the verb.
2: Working in pairs:
"Pair A" pupils use the notebook computers loaded with teacher-prepared Powerpoint exercise to discuss and answer the questions in them.
"Pair B" pupils use another notebook computer to run "Spell It Deluxe" and do the word exercise selected by the teacher.
3 Pupils do a worksheet and check the answers with the teacher.
