Instructional Strategies

1. Explain to the pupils that they are going to learn the multiplication tables of 2 to 9. Some of the multiplication facts such as 4 x 7 which may not be familiar to them. But 7 x 4 is equal to 4 x 7. On the other hand, if they do not know 7 x 5 = ? but they know 7 x 4 = 28 then they should deduce that 7 x 5 = 7 x 4 + 7.

2. Ask the pupils to start with Activity – Trash Zapper and Level – 1

3. Get pupils to do Ex 13 of Workbook 2B Part 1 Ex 13 and 14.

4. Get pupils to write their multiplication tables of 2 to 9.
