Instructional Strategies:

  1. Teacher to introduce the word list to the pupils.
  2. Drill on word recognition.
  3. Pair work – Pupils to follow teachers instruction to find the meaning / definition of the words using the computer.
  4. Pupils to practise pronouncing the words correctly and to learn the meanings of the words.
  5. Pupils to use the words learnt to complete the sentences given.
  6. Pupils to play the game "Slime Game".
  7. Pupils to do a crossword puzzle worksheet based on the words learnt.
