Instructional Strategies :
1. Teacher flashes to pupils a box of cigarettes and ask them what they see (on the slide).
She asks: What is this? What do you see on the box? Is smoking good for you?
2. Teacher then explains the harmful effects of smoking using a Powerpoint presentation.
3. She stops occasionally and asks pupils to Think-Pair-Share about what the slides depict, eg. the healthy lung and the smoker's lung pictures.
4. Pupils are finally requested to write down their thoughts on Smoking, using Creative Writer.
5.They can also do a poster on "No Smoking" illustrating it with pictures, using Creative Writer.
