Pre-requisite :
a) Pupils should have knowledge of their neighbourhood through observation skills.
Specific Instructional Objectives :
Pupils should be able to :
a) use their imagination and drawing skill to depict a scene around their neighbourhood.
b) develop their drawing skill using the mouse.

1) Title of Courseware - Crayola Art Studio
Relevant tools : Crayon, marker, fill, watercolour, undo & exploding eraser.
Learning Environment :
Full Computer Laboratory
Instructional Strategies :
1) Introduction - 15 mins
Have a discussion on pupils’ neighbours, surroundings, facilities etc.
Ask pupils to focus on one particular area of their neighbourhood
e.g. playground, community centre, void deck etc.
2) Development - 30 mins (Pair Work)
Pupils reproduce an event in their neighbourhood using crayon or marker as their drawing tool and fill and watercolour as their colouring tools and give the picture a title.
3) Conclusion - 15 mins
Appreciation of art works - Pupils talk about their drawings ,e.g. describe the place / event they have chosen to feature and the reasons for their choice. (Overall Composition)
They comment on the colours used - Are they suitable for the occasion? Why?
They also talk about the difficulties they encountered when using the software.
