Hello, I found your great website while searching for info and pictures to help me complete a model I am making of a world war II R75. The model is scaled for a GI Joe and I have a sheet of decals to use but I have no clue where some of these go. I hope its not too much to ask but could you help me? 1. The first decal says "Schwingachse wochentilch schmieren" and has an arrow pointing to the left on it. I know this is saying something about a swing axle and lubrication but I have no idea where on the motorcycle it should go. 2. The second decal appears to say "Entsforst nach Gruppe" and BOSCH and has the number 9 in a silver square and below that the letter A in a silver square. 3. The last decal that has me stumped says "Bayerische Motoren Werke" and below that "A.G.Munchen". Below that it appears to say "Baymust" "Fahrgest" and "Bayahr" and beside each of these words are numbers in silver boxes. Please forgive me if I have misspelled any of these words, the decals are very small. Would you know where on an R75 these decals would go? If so I would really appreciate your help! So che dice qualcosa di un asse e una lubrificazione dell'oscillazione ma non ho idea dove dovrebbe andare. 2. La seconda decalcomania dice "Entsforst nach Gruppe" e BOSCH ed ha il numero 9 in un quadrato d'argento e sotto quello la lettera A in un altro quadrato d'argento. 3. L' ultima decalcomania dice " Bayerische Motoren Werke " e sotto quello " A.G.Munchen ". Sotto quella sembra dire che " Baymust " " Fahrgest " e " Bayahr " ed al lato di ciascuna di queste parole ci sono numeri in caselle d'argento. Perdonami se ho sbagliato l'ortografia di queste parole ma sono molto piccole. Sapreste dirmi dove metterle su una R75 ? In caso affermativo apprezzerei il vostro aiuto! |

My name is Luca Ongaro and with my brother Guido and Father Pippo is from a lot of years we interest about these wonderfull heavy weight bikes. My Father from at least 20 years and more. We live in Monza, and from about one year we have an internet site for our friends here in Italy. http://www.geocities.com/ongaro2000 We have seen on your wonderfull book "The Wehrmachtsgespann BMW R75" at the end of the war another 98 R75 were produced in 1946 and delivered to Russia. This is wrong !! because We have the proof were produced more than 200, one of our R75 found in East Europe is N. 770203 - 1946. Best Regards. In the factory in Eisenach which was after the end of the war in russen sector the has produce from the parts which was in the factory this 98 BMW R75. I have a document waht is written from the BMW to the russen Armee. In this BMW say: We can build only 96 or 98 BMW R75 from the parts which we have in stock. We can deliver it to the end of 1946. May be they start a new production from more. But about this I do not find any documents. The russen army ordered also a repairing set. 4 times a set for 150 R75. In my opinion in this set was also new parts for frames. and it is possibel to find frames with a higher No. Also we know engines with a engine No. from 720 300. Best regards Peter Hommes |

Scusate se disturbo ma mi domandavo se potete aiutarmi.... ...una persona durante un raduno di moto d'epoca ha potuto ammirare una R75 che recava sul serbatoio...(ma non vorrei sbagliarmi)...uno disegno raffigurante uno scheletro stilizzato in posizione di caduta in picchiata che brandisce una spada.... vi risulta che tale simbolo comparisse su alcuni modelli?...č possibile che fosse il distintivo di qualche corpo particolare?....se avete un immagine di questo simbolo vi sarei grato se potreste mandarmene una copia in jpg...anche se l'immagine fosse rovinata non importa... ...vi ringrazio anticipatamente saluti. Da una ricerca accuranta siamo venuti a conoscenza che la speciale insigna che hai visto ad un raduno era usata dal 11th Schutz.Brig. motorizzata nata nel 1940.
