Case No. CIV-F-00-5474
Dear Pro Bono,
My case is currently pending a decision for review before the Federal Eastern District Court in Fresno, CA.
What makes my case extraordinary is it strikes the core on how our justice system can break down. Believe me if you're an attorney ready and able to handle a case served on a silver platter, maybe even a cornerstone case, then this would be it.
I am a first termer, with no history of violence nor do any corporeal acts
of violence exist in my entire case. However, I'm serving consecutive
Aggravated sentences for committing violent crimes, and have been in a
Maximum level IV prison facility for violent offenders over the past
nine years. Go Figure!
I just hope I reached someone who is interested and cares enough that any person should be punished for a crime he actually did commit, not for crimes he did not commit. My family and I know that I do not deserve the 38 year term imposed upon me. Consider this the States secret 1X strike Law at its worst.
What has needed to be done, as far as filings on Habeas, it has been done, such as exhibits/new evidence, motions, Opposition to Motion to dismiss and Protective order: To compel Evidence-Admitted-Grant evidentiary hearing. So, I can use a little help. Basically a litigator/spokesperson who could ensure a fair habeas proceedings, evidentiary or other wise before an open court. Very little help in order for me to obtain the afforded relief. I've diligently sought for so long.
