Meet Our Board
Rev. Bunnie Klassen: An ordained Pentecostal Evangelical minister, Rev. Bunnie has a background in operating her own bookkeeping business as well as diplomas in Police Sciences, PC Specialist, and is just short of a degree in Business Administration. Her life experiences have given her a heart for the lost, lonely and hurting people of this world and she shares a compassion for those on the streets, in need and in prison, reaching out to them with the love of Christ, both in her personal life and through the ministry she has founded by the Lord grace.
Larry Buchholz: The youngest member of our board, Larry is a growing Christian who will do what is needed to assist in this ministry. He is also working on getting the youth in the community together to worship the Lord and develop their relationship with God
Kelley Porier: Kelly has run two very successful outreach
ministries previously and has a true heart for the Lord and His
people, no matter what circumstance they find themselves in. He
currently owns a Mac's convenience store and is an associate of
Bread of Life Boarding House in Red Deer, Alberta. He serves On
Fire Ministries as Treasurer and Fund-raising Co-ordinator. His
expertise in these areas is invaluable and we are thankful to the
Lord for directing him to us.
Rev. Bonnie Atkinson: Bonnie is also an ordained minister. Although not extremely active at On Fire Ministries, she is a determined prayer warrior and is constantly interceding for this ministry and individual prayer requests that come into us. She has a heart for native ministry, as well as foreign missions. With a love for all she has been a wonderful comforter, exhorter, and encourager to us.
David Booy: As a former inmate, David knows what problems inmates face, especially Christian inmates. He brings valuable insight to our efforts on their behalf both in speaking and sharing his testimony, and in the practical aspects of ministering on this front.
