| My name is Debra and going to Fan fair was the most amazing experience and meeting Lance was one of my favorite moments. I first met him at the Flameworthy post show. Actually, it was after. It was kind of funny because he said he needed to go do a few things like change, but being the nice person he is, he ended up staying outside with the fans. So I went up to him, and he says "hi, how are you?" and I answer that I am fine and return the question to him and he says that he's doing good. My dad takes a picture of us, and I have to say that this is my favorite picture now! Then I ask him to sign this book and the "L" wouldn't come out so he went over it a second time and said "we have got to get the "L" because then people will look at this and say Ance Smith? Who's that?" It was sooo funny! I told him that I loved watching the show and that he did a great job. He said thanks and that he's learning. It was such a great night, but that's not all. I went to the softball game and he was telling everyone that he would be at the Convention Center. So on Friday, I was there. After meeting Rascal Flatts, I decided to head on over to the CMT truck. And he was there. When I wasnt too far back he looked up and said "Hey, how are you?" (talking to me because he recognized me, which totally caught me off gaurd! I was not expecting that! lol) And I said good. Then I went up to him and said, "You know, I never got to introduce myself the other night, I'm Debra." He said, "Debra,.I'm Lance." (Duh! but I didn't care! lol!) and we shook hands.. Then he signed a picture (which I have to say, is a great one!) And I asked him if he had gone to any concerts at Adelphia, but he said that he had been very busy and hadn't. Then I got another picture with him, and as I left he waved and said, "Bye Debra" and winked!! hehe that was great!. Seriously Lance is the nicest guy I've ever met.I hope everyone gets the opportunity to meet him, I REALLY do! | |||||||||
