The day happened for us on Sunday 22 June 2003.
He arrived at my house at 9.00am in the morning. And yes... he was waylaid at the door by my Jie-Meis. hehe....After paying up the angpow $ and doing a limbo (chicken feet according to him), he was allowed into the house.
Alas, he was made to choose which room I am in and to sing a song before the room could be opened. Thankfully, after singing "xiaowei" (with lyrics changed), he got the correct room and was able to see his bride (ME!)
The day proceeded smoothly and we both really enjoyed ourselves.
