In August of 2004, Tim called me wondering if I would like to "jam" with him and his brother. I gathered my things and went over there expecting just a time of music and fun, which I received. Later, we decided to make this more than just a weekly jam session, but something that was worth our time and effort. I proceeded to ask them, point-blank, if they wanted to make this a Christian band with a mission or just another band. Being in Christian bands before, I knew it took more than just playing music to be successful and to spread the important message of Jesus Christ. So, this time we were going to do it right. We planned to have weekly devotionals to study the Word and pray about our individual lives and our ministry together. We knew that if we put Jesus first and foremost that His will, through us, would be accomplish. I'm excited about what God has planned. I am also excited about the band's spiritual growth. It is an awesome feeling when a few guys get together just because they love Jesus and want to serve Him.
