Who Was Trajan

Trajan was an Emperor of the Roman Empire who lived ~ 100 years after JESUS, the WORD OF GOD made flesh ,was crucified. Today in secular teachings he is revered as one of the five 'good emperors' of the Roman Empire at it's zenith. For those who love JESUS and all he did- including the establishment of the ONE HOLY UNIVERSAL AND APOSTLETIC CHURCH Trajan is seen in a totally opposite light- for he was the Emperor who brought to denouement the persecution of THE CHURCH, in establishing a most insidious methodology for that purpose which is basically the 'means' standard for such persecution ever since and will probably be so, until JESUS' return. Trajan was well educated and privileged. He was actually adopted for the political purposes of Nerva, his predecessor, who was impelled through a praetorian mutiny to curry favor with the ranks of the Roman Legions and thus avoid sharing in the same fate as Domitian whose assassination elevated Nerva to power. Trajan- was actually the son of a Roman Senator and as a young man had served in the Roman Army in the Northern territories with much distinction. For those whose only concern is the Nation-State and earthly values, it is understandable that Trajans political success and historical 'deification' marks him as a 'great man'; however, at the resurrection hell will be filled with what the populous tides of the day and even history regard as 'the great' just as the New Jerusalem will swell with the shunned and ignored. The originator of the 'untested accusation' used as a means to place an 'undesirable' within a rigged system that results in death or the 'breaking' of the individual: ensures that his admirers will have plenty of time to converse together with him resurrection + a moment until forever + a day! - Lucky them!
