"Seb" - The Early Days
When I first bought "Seb" he was quite different to how he is now. He had been painted overall limestone and fitted with a full length canvas roof. The back was full of leaves, the seats were ripped and he was missing a few lamp lenses - thankfully by the time I took delivery the previous owner had cleaned him up and got an MOT sorted out.
Here you can see it as I first saw it, rough and ready but still in use - many years had been spent hauling logs from one side of the farm to another. Note the extra fans on the front, I have no idea who fitted these but they did not work and were broken so I removed them. The little black logos look to have been for a safari park, I know it was at one point based very close to Longleat...
As you can see in these pics, I initially thought "Seb" had been a truck cab, but eventual discussion with Southern Electricity, as well as a look at the hardtop that came with it, proved otherwise - the SEB vehicles all had a peculiar roof air intake, and this could be seen on the roof panel, as well as the cut-off remains of the ladder rack.
