Ok, so this is my first "official" time writing a blog/ journal/whatever you call it on my site (that you know of). Ok... what to say?
It hasn't even been two weeks yet and I'm sick of school. My Holocaust teacher almost didn't accept a paper I turned in four hours late (four hours after the end of class). I know I'm supposed to turn them in during class, but I had had a rough weekend, and my time diminished and disappeared on me.
I went down to St. Mary's College on Saturday. It's really a nice place. I mean, the atmosphere is amazing. If you like a scenic, well forested, and quiet place, it is literally perfect. The only qualm I have is that there is nothing nearby. You have to drive twenty minutes just to get to a nearby small town. It was actually the first thing to divert my mind from UMBC for the fall. I'm going up to Messiah tomorrow. I wonder if it will be as nice as St. Mary's. That's a tough act to follow.
Bleck. My car battery died on me this morning. I went out to drive to school, and it doesn't start. I quickly discovered that the interior light had been left on all night, which is odd because I dodn't use the light the evening before. So, I don't know. Needless to say, I missed two classes. Do I get a little "excused" slip for death of battery? Sihj.
Work, school... work, school... work school... is that all my life is right now? Man, I can't wait til I'm old and grey and I neither have to work nor study. I can just sit back and relax. Problem is, once I'm there, I know I'll want to come back to the youth and energy I have now. Grass is always greener, eh?
