In the darkness of the night, three people break into an art exhibit, and steals the valuable paintings. One of the theives is greedy and breaks the glass case that holds a gold crown from ancient history. With the glass being broken, an alarm is set off, and they all run in panic. Police officers come in and start shooting before they are able to escape, and return gun shots. The statue is broken from a bullet, and one of the theives picks up the gem as it hits the floor. Running away down the back steps, the gem is dropped when Morgana� places it in her hands to examine it, for it burns her hands. The one she is with, Eric, is shot by a cop coming in the back door, and she escapes before she is noticed, leaving the broken gem on the floor. One of the police officers chase her and leaves Eric there, mistaking him for dead. The DJINN comes out from the broken gem in a form that attaches to the wall, and he asks Eric to make a wish. " Is the pain unbearable?? I will take the pain away...all you have to do is ask." Eric wishes that he had never been born, and the DJINN grants his wish, and makes him disapear into thin air. With this, the DJINN has collected his first soul and transforms into his human identity again. Since he now has his human identity, the police officers give up the chase for Morgana and return inside the building to find the DJINN there, and ask him to put his hands up, and they arrest him for the theft of the paintings, and the murder of the officer dead from the gun fight earlier. They handcuff him and put him in jail, and publisized it on the news where Morgana sees this and is upset that he takes the blame for it, and he was not there during the robbery and questions why he would do this.

As he is in jail, finds all kinds of easy prey to fulfill his prophecy, by finding those who are greedy and asking for wishes to be granted. The DJINN comes across a� man in jail who is interrested in the DJINNs shoes, and DJINN asks " Is there something I can do for you??" and the� man replies, "Yes, I want the shoes you have."...However, DJINN says the� man is way too wise and powerful to ask for something of this nature "You can wish for anything in the world, and I will grant it to you." So the man says, "I wish to walk through these bars and walk out of here a free man but if you do not fulfill my� I will own you. ." And the DJINN grants his wish but only after he says "If I do fulfill your wish, I will own your soul"...only to force the mans body through the bars and of course the man is torn to shreds and DJINN receives another soul.

During the DJINNs soul searching Morgana is doing some reasearch to find out why she feels she is possessed and what all is going on. She is seeing the souls being taken in her dreams and in her daily life as if they are real and actually happening, and feels the pain of the souls being collected. She reads that 'The diety of light and PreIslamic Persia is said to contain all that is dark. He then came to symbolise the good and evil, and is also know as keeper of the stone of the sacred fire. According to the legend the all powerful DJINN laid waist to the court of Persia as he prepared� the earth a surge, to make the world as his own. Kings alchemist created the stone of the secret fire, and by incantation the alcemist impressioned the gem with the fire inside the gem. Less the DJINN escapes again and bring on the apocolypse. AHURA MAZDA was enlisted to guard the stone and keep the DJINN in the spaces between the worlds.'
She gets tired of what all is going on and visits a priest, that happens to be her ex-lover. The priest talks with her and agrees to go visit the DJINN in jail. Morgana and the priest ask DJINN " Where you there at the robbery the whole time?" The DJINN replys, "Yes, but I was hidden, and am using you for you are the one who set me free. You are more help to me outside the real world, and I am finding souls , for in here everyone wants something." He continues to collect souls while in prision, finding one russian man who knows who and what he is about and makes a pact for life with him. " I will do anything to help you. All i ask is that my first wish me that I may walk out of here a free man." "I only grant one wish, that is the rules, and I will own your soul if I grant this wish." DJINN replies. "But rules are ment to be broken, and I am not the usual soul, for I am willing to do anything and everything for you and will help you collect the souls you need." says the russian man.

She knows that she must be pure in all aspects of her thoughts and her soul in order to destroy the DJINN, so she cuts off her finger to help get rid of her demons in her life. (not that it helps, but is her way of believing) She returns the painting back to the.........where she and her friends had stolen them from.
During this time, the DJINN continues to take the last few souls he can in jail, and decides it is time to escape and collect the rest out in the real world. He comes across a guard that asks a wish, and it is granted, and the DJINN takes his soul and the guards body form so that he and the russian man may escape from jail.
