PART ONE

The stone of the secret fire was created about 900 years ago by a great Persian sorcerer to save his people from the DJINN is as much a curse as a blessing because it is a doorway between the worlds and like all doors, it can be opened by either side. A DJINN once freed, uses the stone so he can bring forth his race to our reality and overwhelm humanity. But the DJINN must first charge the stone by gathering souls of humans who have had a single wish granted. He must then activate it by finding the one who awoke him and granting him three wishes. The soul limitations to the DJINN is that it may only be used in the services of wishes.

In the begining, the statue of
AHURA MAZDA, a diety of a forbidden occult, was destroyed, releasing the concealed gem of the DJINN. Unfamiliar with its powers, the gem passed the hands of several men, finding its way to an appraiser, Ariella. She soon discovered its powers by blowing on the gem with her breath to clean it. The DJINN was then awoken, but not released until a laser xray, that was used to examine the gem, broke it and let the DJINN free to fulfill its prophecy. ( The prophecy of the DJINN states that he must claim 1001 souls before granting three wishes to the one who awoken him. The souls cannot be just taken, but must be given up willingly. After granting the three wishes, all the DJINN will be free to rule the earth. )

Since he was free now, and needing a human identity, searches the world for his first soul. Coming across a homeless man, who wished the death of a pharmicist, whom he had a recent quarrel with. He unknowingly trades his soul with
DJINN for the pharmicists immediate death. The DJINN now has a human form ( known as Nathanial Demeritz ) and one soul in debt. As he receives his human form, the homeless man flees in disbelief and fear. The DJINN heads his warning...."Was it worth it?? Run into safety, run tell those what you have to tell, while you still have your soul. Tell them there is something is loose in the city, something that feeds on wishes."

As the
DJINN searches for more souls to trick, he comes across a beautiful store clerk and steals her soul with his charm. "I am pleased to see beauty as a constant. Does it bother you that you know your beauty will fade, that your looking glass will day by day tell your long story?? If you want eternal beauty, just ask, and it will be granted to you." She wishes it to be true, and is turned into a maniquin.
The
DJINN now is searching for Ariella, the soul who awoken him, so that he may fulfill the prophecy. As his search continues, he tricks those who give up there souls for wished to be granted. He comes across a police officer who knew Ariella. He askes for her address, but the police officer does not grant what he is asking. Therefore the DJINN tricks him into wishing someone dead, and the wish is granted, and he now owns another soul. As he was granting the officers wish, steals the address of Ariella, and disappears into the streets to search for her, taking more souls as he journeys on.

As each soul is taken, Ariella feels and sees the pain and suffering in her mind of all those who are paying there debts to the
DJINN. The DJINN now comes across her boss, who does not give any information out as well, but is tricked into wishing something and it is granted. With this, the DJINN is closer and closer to getting Ariella. Unknown to Ariella, the DJINN takes on her friends identity, and tells her of his plan...."You were born into an age of reason and an age of science. All the sorcerers are dead and all the spells lost. If the gem existed it would be all that existed, and the only magical thing in a rationalist world, a vulnerable world of disbelief where no reason would ever rescue you. No spells, no hope, no magic. Match wits with a creature older than time. Match wits with the prince of dark dominions. Pick your 20th century brains with and against the one who walked between the spaces of the world. Trode the ways of angels beneath your concrete feet."
