Shaunte Palmer, L.A. born Long Beach raised, started his trek in music at the age of 8. He, as a child, instinctively liked cartoons that had jazz soundtracks [Pink Panther, Tom & Jerry, the Looney Tunes and the Muppets heavily influenced him.] Though the music in him manifested through his first influence, David Sanborn. Shaunte progressed in music to attain a diverse background in every genre from country to independent soundtracks. He has several instruments to his credit mostly Trombone, Piano, and singing are what he's known for. This talented artist has also worked with a variety of people, Kurt Elling, Bonnie Raitt, Steve Turre, Robin Eubanks, Jennifer Shelton, Angel Figueroa, Eek a Mouse, Upstream and Sublime just to name a few. Shaunte has an insatiable desire to have everyone in there having a good time. He feels it is important for artists to portray life's balance in the music and to put more time into the imbalances. |
