| {Introduction} The disciples were sent to "Jerusalem," definition: "the place where the waters are flowing, the rain is falling, where you get on target with Abba Daddy so the safety of your soul may be completed, and in turn give away what you've been given." |
| "The Upper Room," prayer meeting always starts at the highest room in your house. {Your higher spiritual nature.} |
| Five evidences found inpeople who have had an 'upper room' meeting: |
| 1} They were united around the Savior a} 'Worship': Kissing the Master's hand like a dog licks his masters hand by way of the Spirit and the Son of God. b} Weak things united to a singlepurposeorfocusbecomes mighty and strong. c} What are you linked to? |
| 2} They were unified around the Word a} "Unify" is the process of merging. b} "Unity" is the state of being there. c} Your upper room prayer meeting starts in your higher nature and flows down through the whole house. |
| 3} They waite for the unction of the Spirit. a} Jesus said you "shall receive," 1} Definition: get a grip, get a hold of what I'm about to send!" b} Unction 1} Definition: smeared, geared, massaged, saturated by an outpouring. |
| 4} There was unity among the saints. a} "With one accord" 1} Definition: earnest perserverance, dilligence, constant attention to something, a unanimous passion as if "breathing hard." b} Get in agreement with your church family and fall in love all over again! |
| 5} They were ready to undertake the 'winning of souls.' a} We are kingdom sujects and serve a king. b} We must contend for the authentic power that creates a testimony so the witness will manifest! |
