Pastel Tulips
Nature brings us a most wondrous gift -
It teaches us that
Life continually changes,
And beauty always follows hopelessness.
Each year Spring returns
Forgiving the harsh, cold bitterness of Winter,
Bringing forth pastel tulips
To remind us...
That following cold is warmth;
Following darkness is light;
Following anger is love.
And to remind us that God's plan
Of renewal and forgiveness
Brings forth the greatest of treasures
And the most special of miracles.
For every flower of His that we admire,
Let us share the warmth of forgiveness with another
And plant pastel tulips
In their heart.
