At 10pm a Flag made of fireworks was lit to start the night's booming, brilliant display.

Almost Angelic in appearance.

Multiple explosions and flying fireworks helped to create this interesting picture.

I'm thinking our local Volunteer Fire Department people were having just a "little bit of fun" right about now.

Ya think?

A "burning willow" kind of look as the sizzling sparkles rained down and slowly faded before touching the ground.

Remember that commercial where the guy lights up the palm tree for Christmas??

In this "version" some of the lights seem to be blowing out.

I just thought this one was interesting for the porcupine-ball kind of look.

I also like the colors at the end of each ray.

This one was rather neat for the three obvious explosions and how they just overlapped in such an interesting way.

This one was just nifty in it's appearance.

Kids thought this one looked like a Fairy.

Wings spread and her right leg bent and moved forward slightly.

She's possibly bowing or holding her hands/arms out before her.

I can sort of see it..

after spending a little time gazing at it.
