Be Careful What You Ask For

It all started when the words were spoken. I had just argued with my boyfriend and was burning mad. I turned to a new friend for comfort; little did I know how serious she would take my words. In my anger I said, Romeo must die! I was angry I didnt mean it.

Well I worked it out with Romeo, we were happy again. I had forgotten about my discussion with my new friend. Then one day Romeo and I were walking down the street and a street fighter ran up and hit Romeo in the back of the head with a bat. We filed a report, but thought it was a random attack.

A few weeks later I ran into my new friend again. She said, I have it taken care of this time. I had no idea of what she was talking about, so I just looked at her confused. This time I gave them a monkey wrench and told them to do it during rush hour, that way no one will trace it back to you. You know your faking the make-up and being with him to file the report the last time really makes you look innocent. Ill have to remember that for future use.

It slowly sank in to my brain. She had taken me seriously. She had ordered a hit on my Romeo! I had to find him, I had to save him. I screamed at her, You didnt! How could you? Stop it now!

I cant, its too late. Im just helping you. Why are you so mad? she calmly replied.

I love him. I said that in anger, I dont want him dead. I cried.

Well I guess you should watch what you ask for, because this time you got what you asked for. If you try to rat me out, I will tell them just who asked for him to die in the first place. She stated flatly.

So, here I am writing it all out after receiving a call about my Romeos last day. It had been a mortal combat. One that would go down in history, road rage had caused a riot. Twelve people had died that day. If I kept my mouth shut no one would ever know what really happened, but could I go on with out my Romeo? The choice has been made. I have written it all out and now am bleeding out my life. I will be with my Romeo soo
