Hello, my name is Faith, I am 27 years old and I live in Kentucky.  I have met many people on the net and most I prefer to forget.  What people find here is sometimes more than than they expected and they are dealt some blows that are, for the most part, unforgettable.  Occasionally, however, you may meet people who are genuine and sincere and from these relationships are formed the lasting friendships that many people seek but rarely are able to find.  If found, it is sometimes hard to keep them intact for any length of time.  The majority of people you will find residing in the dark recesses of the internet are not worth your time nor trust, and at some point, most people who play online quite a bit realize this only too late.  It is human nature to want to trust.  It is natural to want to locate the good in people and expound upon this.  For others, they are drawn to damaged people with hurt souls and broken spirits, an inherent need to fix and repair them.  For others, it is a playground for the wicked and cruel....constantly lurking and waiting in the shadows like a bird of prey on a dark moonless night, ready to attack the next unsuspecting victim.  Every person you meet online is different in their own way, it is just merely the situations and characters that seem similar.  Much like a thumbprint on a freshly washed, sparkling window, we are all unique.  We are all special.  We all come here for various reasons.  It is just a matter of time before the purpose changes.  It is only a matter of time before the situation can take a potentially disasterous turn, or create a terminal and path that will lead you to new heights and spirits.  The net is your mind at work.  You choose the paths.  And much like a psychotic and demented, warped mind, we meet personalities on here we can sometimes see ourselves clearly within...and much like the psychotic people you know exist in real life, this should terrify you to an extent.  It is up to you which doors you choose to open for people and which doors you are wise enough to realize need closing...or simply never opened to begin with.  The decision, as with most encounters you will find...is left up to you.  The water appears calm, but has a swift current with a sudden rush.
Be careful.....be very careful.
...But then again...it's all harmless fun, right?
