Household Formulas
for
Homemade Cleaners
NOTE: It should be remembered that
any chemical can be very
dangerous when used or handled
improperly. For this reason, the
publisher of these formulas IS
NOT responsible for any mishaps
associated with these formulas.
THEY ARE OFFERED AS INFORMATION
ONLY!
In addition, these formulas were
culled from many different
sources on the web, which will
be listed as a reference at the
end of the article, for you to
peruse and perhaps find
information you can implement in
your home.
These are "Professional" Homemade
Cleaners! I like to call them
that because they are good for
those just embarking on homemade
cleaners and who need a little
more structure, in other words, we
have been trained to believe we
need "formulas" for all our
cleaning needs, that increases
sales of multitudes of cleaners
designed to handle individual tasks.
However with research you
will find that almost all cleaners
are made of the same old
stuff, ammonia, bleach and vinegar,
with some smell-good throw
in. Which by the way a few drops
of your favorite essential oil
will accomplish the same thing!!
Many of these recipes are in
bulk, for your purposes you may
want to reduce by at least 1/2.
As to spray bottles, most any will
do, however
DO NOT MIX AMMONIA
CLEANERS IN OLD BLEACH BOTTLES.
DO NOT USE ANY OTHER BOTTLE BUT
AN OLD BLEACH CLEANER SPRAY BOTTLE
FOR A BLEACH CLEANER!
If you need to go to those dollar
stores and buy
one bleach cleaner spray bottle
so you will have
one from now on. The reason for
this is that bleach will eat up
most spray bottles except those
that have been specifically manufactured
to hold bleach contents.
I hope you find this series informative
and money-saving. I can't
tell you how much money I have
saved since embarking on homemade
cleaners and saving untold valuable
real estate under the sink!!
