THE WHITE PYRAMID

The image below is of the so-called White Pyramid, located in the Qin Ling Shan mountains, about100 km southwest of the city of Xi'an, in the People's Republic of China. It is reported to be about 300 meters high. Perhaps it was given that name by Hartwig Hausdorf -- I am not sure. It was discussed in his book, entitled: DIE WEISSE PYRAMIDE, available only in German at the moment, and published by Knaur (Munich) in 1994 (which I have not seen). Hausdorf says the picture was taken at the end of World War II by a US Air Force pilot who was flying supplies from Assam in northern India to Chinese forces when engine trouble forced him to fly his airplane at low altitude, and he saw the pyramid. In addition to the visit by Hausdorf reported on at various sites listed below, since writing Die Weisse Pyramide, he has been back to China and has visited and photographed the White Pyramid again, as well as some others. However, I have not seen any of these more recent photographs. (Information received from Tony Smith, who maintains the "China Lakes" website cited in the next section)

It was also mentioned that Bruce Cathie, author of Earth's Energy Grid discovered a correlation between the biggest pyramid in China and Giza dealing with degrees of arc. Does anyone have any more info on this, for example what magazines have articles on this? If the general populous can be blinded toward the existence of huge structures on top of land such as these (and don't try to use the excuse that they are in a communist country, they have been around at least a few thousand years and for them to remain a secret that long does not make sense unless a concerted effort to repress this info has been in place for a good part of this century, they are just too big and too numerous to have been hidden for so long ) does it not stand to reason that the existence of, dare I say it, Atlantis, under water pyramids and UFOs remain covered up too? Would these not be so much easier to cover up?

Especially if the artifacts of these are lieing deep beneath the surface of the ocean if not under the ocean floor? I think so. DRAMATIC REVELATION FOR ARCHAEOLOGISTS

Hartwig Hausdorf publisher of "The White Pyramids" (only in German at the moment) showed films of his recent return from Xian province in China, where up to NINETY pyramids have been "discovered", one pyramid was a collossal 300 meters high, the rest ranged from 35 to 90 meters. In one area SEVENTEEN Pyramids are visible even in the industrial-polluted atmosphere at Xian.

The biggest pyramid (50km SW of Xian) was first noticed/photographed by an American pilot off-course in the last war. Then the report was forgotten, and the "cultural" Revolution wiped out all references to the Pyramid Fields of Xian.

The local "archaeologist" and museum curator was asked in Xian, what work they had done on the White Pyramids to discover their origin,- NOTHING. "We have been given no money nor instructions," they muttered. "It will have to be for the next generation."

The construction of the Chinese Pyramids is similar to Teotiuhuacan, made of piled earth with stepped sides, rather than the spectacular engineering of Khufu. also the tops of most of them are flattened off - like the Mayan ones, some also being rectangular.

The questions remain, because oftheir size, what was their purpose? and who built them and why were these pyramids built? Nobody knows anything. What percentage of "professional" archaeologists had even a glimmer of awareness of their existence?! Isn't it amazing that such a site could remain secret for so long. So what ELSE is hidden on this planet?

A story about these were published in the recent issue of NEXUS magazine and included 2 photos. I can't be the only one who has read this in this newsgroup. One of the biggest was said to rival that of Giza, at least in mass.

ANCIENT PYRAMIDS IN CHINA
Hartwig Hausdorf, a researcher in Germany, sent over these photographs from his collection, taken during his 1994 trip to the Forbidden Zone in The Shensi Province in China. Estimates for an age are 4,500 years old, but Hausdorf mentions the diaries of two Australian traders who, in 1912, met an old Buddhist monk who told them these pyramids are mentioned in the 5,000 year old records of his monastery as being "very old."

Hausdorf reports: There are over 100 pyramids, made of clay, that have become nearly stone hard over the centuries. Many are damaged by erosion or farming. One pyramid is as large as the Pyramid of the Sun of Teotihuacan in Mexico (which is as large as the Great Pyramid of Giza). Most are flat topped, some have small temples on top. There is a stone pyramid in Shandong, about 50 feet tall. Some incorporate the golden proportion.

RECENT INTERVIEW: "THE CHINESE ROSWELL"
Hausdorf was in the U.S. for a couple of weeks during August. On August 2nd, he was our guest on the radio show. He talked about the pyramids of China, AND about an extraordinary UFO crash, what he calls "the Chinese Roswell." It involves a great number of graves containing skeletons of strange looking humanoid beings with heads too big for their 4 feet, 4 inches tall frames. Along side, were hundreds of these granite stone disks, with strange hieroglyphs that, according to one translation, tell of a UFO crash 12,000 years ago. Legends from the area mention "ugly, yellowish and skinny beings with big heads that came down from heaven a long, long time ago"!

One thing that I do not know, but would like to know, is the extent of contact between China and the Sphinx-Giza Civilization of the same time, about 9,000 to 6,000 years ago. One similarity is that China has a Great Pyramid 40 miles southwest of Xian. According to Childress (Lost Cities of China..., Adventures Unlimited 1991), China's Great Pyramid is said to be at least 4,000 years old, and likely much older. It is said that its sides were originally painted black on the North, blue-gray (or faded green) on the East, red on the South, white on the West, and yellow on the top Center platform.

Hey folks, where's the discussion on these amazing monuments that have been recently acknowledged by the Chinese government for their existence?

The other photo is of a group of about 5 or 6 pyramids. The article said that at least 20 different pyramids were there.

PYRAMID - INNER GARDEN - OUTER GARDEN

The grave mound is surrounded by a double castle wall. Inside the inner castle wall is a garden called the Inner Imperial Tomb Garden, while inside the outer castle wall is a garden called the Outer Imperial Tomb Garden. The Outer Garden measures 2 kilometers on the north-south axis and 1 kilometer on the east-west axis . With gates on the north, south, west, and east sides, square towers at each corner, and walls that rose 20 meters from the ground, this was a very impressive structure. The famous figures of horses and warriors are 1.5 kilometers from the east side of the imperial tomb.
