| Bear with me a moment... There is one thing that keeps coming up that is troubling me, and that I believe needs addressing... Is there a road between these two ditches?... While it is true that "Gentile Christianity" {for the most part} has dressed up Yeshua Messiah in their minds to one degree or another in "egyptian clothing" - in their following of certain pagan practices, customs and dogma, and so they have a warped view of just who Yeshua is; yet that does NOT mean that all Gentile Christians do not know Yeshua as Messiah! First, yes: there are many in "Christianity" today who DO follow "another messiah" - the "world council of churches" are evidence of this - their false-doctrines actually go out of the way to be anti-Nomian/Torah - being: pro-abortion, pro-homosexuality, etc..., even often pro-PLO! And sadly these groups comprise about 50% plus or so of those who "claim" to be "Christian". BUT!: we are to gently instruct those who oppose themselves. Consider that almost EVERY SINGLE PERSON in Messianic/Natzratim Judaism today came to know Yeshua Messiah FIRST as Jesus Christ! - Then they also came to know, through instruction in the Word - and through witness of Ruach HaKodesh in their lives - that Jesus is Yeshua, or in other words: began to see where their dogma was in error and in contradiction to the Word/Torah of Elohim, and so BECAUSE they love Messiah YAH and seek to please Him - they repented of their false-dogma, and began to know Him ever more closely in Spirit and in Truth. Sort of as where Sha'ul speaking of Israel says that he bears them witness that they have a zeal for Elohim, but not according to knowledge. By the same token, you all know in your heart that there are many Gentile Believers that know Yeshua - and they believe {though misguided} that they are serving Elohim in Truth, though they unknowingly and without revelation hold certain things in error. There are various factions of Gentile Believers that follow much/most of the "moral Mitzvout" of Torah - they just don't know why, or else don't have a good apologetic of why they do. And these are those who slowly, over time, realize what we are saying is True, and embrace the totality of Scripture, and so have a better understanding of Yeshua Messiah. But to imply that all Gentile Christians do NOT know Yeshua Messiah is not only misguided, but it is unTrue and speaking against the Body of Messiah. I don't like to use myself as an example, but here it goes... I'm Jewish on my mother's side. And my relatives came over here during the first pogrom periods from Posen Prussia, {about the Fiddler on the Roof time-period and place}. My Great Grandparents, and my Great-Great-Grandparents, heard the Good News of Yeshua, and came to Believe that Yeshua is the Messiah. They also kept observing Torah - my Mother's Mother {my Grandmother}, was hence raised observing erev-Shabbat as a child in her Grandparents home, {as she shared with me later in life}, along with her parents. There wasn't any Shule there in rural Wisconsin in 1880's to 1910's, and there were no Messianic Congregations, they went to a Conservative Lutheran Church. - In fact my Believing Great-Grandfather, who still kept the Mitzvout, built that Church that still stands today. However, when my Grandmother was growing up - anti-Semitism raised it's ugly head, even in this country, and she didn't admit to being Jewish when my mother was born, neither to me till I was about 30 something {though I knew it earlier from research anyway}. Thus: I was raised as Conservative Lutheran without knowing my Jewish background. But guess what?! - I KNEW YESHUA MESSIAH from when I was a small child! When I was about 4 HaShem showed me the Children of Israel walking in the wilderness, and it was as though I was walking there with them. Yeshua Messiah appeared b'Ruach to me visibly when I was this age. Time went on, and I stopped following Messiah; then when I was older, HE APPEARED again to me as a young adult, again b'Ruach visibly, and I gave my heart to Him -- but guess what... I didn't know bupkis about Messianic/Natzratim Judaism, and I started following Him as "Jesus Christ"! Now, before all of you start gasping for breath - Yeshua started to reveal Himself to me as the Lion of Judah, and brought me to an understanding of Him being the Living-Torah; but I first knew Him as "Jesus Christ" - and I assure you - I DID know Him then, and I DO know Him now! The point being... again: almost EVERYONE who knows Yeshua now came to know Him first as "Jesus Christ" {if you're being honest with yourselves that is}, and while we need to proclaim the Good News apart from pagan culture, customs, and dogma - and instead proclaim the entire Word: {The Tanakh & Brit-HaChadashah} to them and everyone - we must not be telling folks that they don't know Messiah Yeshua because they happen to call Him "Jesus Christ"! - Rather tell them His real Name is Yeshua The Mashiach!
