Loot
Policy

- Every guild event or raid that is planned ahead of time has a designated raid leader.
This leader is usually the person who planned and promoted the raid. Anyone
can lead a raid--all they must do is set a date, time, place, and loot policy (see below)
and make it known ahead of time.
- The raid leader sets the policy for loot for that particular raid and then the policy is
not up for discussion. Any one who does not agree with the policy need not attend
that raid.
- There are many possible loot policies including: all lotto, only those who can use it
lotto, specific sought after items go to specific people, raid to complete quest for
member, and many more.
- No one is required to attend any specific raids. However, a good guild member will
not limit themselves to raids where they can obtain "phat loot". Helping
other members get items will help you as their equipment can determine how well they are
able to "back you up."
- Spontaneous raids should have the loot policy set at the beginning--not when looting--to
avoid any arguments. The default policy is all lotto and once a person has won
something they are out of rolls until all have won something.
- This general policy will not solve every potential problem involving loot, but should
cover most. The important to remember is that we are all guildmates and are here to
help each other.
