NATIVE  GATHERINGS
EVERY  MONTH  -  THE LAST FRIDAY OF THE MONTH
POTLUCK BEGINS AT 6:30 PM
Near  ISU in Normal, Illinois

To help our children reconnect with Mother Earth and learn about our culture, we have decided to host a monthly potluck at our home, near the campus of Illinois State University.  We welcome anyone with a good heart who walks the red road to join us for good food, great conversations, and a chance to make friends with people of like minds.

For the safety of our children, we ask the following...

We ask that anyone who attends the potlucks to please refrain from recreational use of tobacco, drugs, and alcohol and to dress and speak in a modest way.

Anyone wishing to attend the potlucks please contact Christine, prior to your visit, via email at :

CALENDAR

Our first potluck will be held on Friday, July 27th, 2007 at 6:30pm

Please bring one or two foods to share, non-perishable dishes for your family's use, and a blanket to sit on (chairs are provided for those unable to sit on the earth).

Traditional foods are encouraged, but not required.

If weather allows, the potluck will be held under the walnut trees in our back yard.  When the weather is felt to be too cold or too wet, we will socialize in our lodge (tipi).
