At the St. Valentines Massacre two weeks ago, they had a game called the Maxwell House. It went like this;
Four stools. First three had 16 oz measuring cups taped to them (to keep them from falling off), with lines drawn around them at the 4 oz level. Last stool had a 32 oz measuring cup taped to it. This is a two person game. Driver drives real slow past the stools, one either side, or both sides if they like. Passenger is given a quart of water in a plastic pitcher. Passenger must pour 4 oz of water in each of the first three cups. Each cup with at least 4 oz in it is good for 5 points. Each of the first three cups that doesn't have 4 oz in it is negative 5 points. Remaining water in the pitcher is poured into the fourth cup. Each ounce of water in the fourth cup is good for one point, up to 16 points. Any more than 16 oz doesn't count as extra points. Since the first three cusp hold 4 oz, and max points in the fourth cup is 16, then the total water needed to get the highest score of 31 points (3 times 5 plus 16), is 28 oz (4 times three plus 16). This leaves 4 oz for spillage and still get a perfect score.
Be sure to attach the cups to the stools, the water will knock them off otherwise. Also, the stools can be cardboard boxes, or whatever reasonable height platforms you can find.
I probably make is sound complicated, but it really isn't, and it is fun, and cheap. Just be sure to have a lot of water available to fill the pitcher for the passengers.
