Headless Horseman

This one got me for a while.  I had never seen it before and the person who asked me to add it to my list of bike games never told me what it was so I asked on the Usenet Newsgroups and Shea helped me out.  He had had found a refference to it from Daytona Biktoberfest at a bar called Billy Bob's.

Here is what he found:

"Oh, you won't BELIEVE this one!  Headless Horseman seems to have made its debut at Daytona Biketoberfest 1995 at a bar called Billy Bob's. A rider wears a large black sack over his head so that he can't see. His passenger (typically a scantily-clad Billy Bob girl-since none of the women in the crowd were stupid/brave(?) enough to go for this!) guides him through a course. In the race we saw, there was a water-filled plastic pumpkin perched atop a 4x4 post. The rider had to get close enough to the post for the passenger to pick up the pumpkin. They then rode to the other end of the course, put the pumpkin on top of another 4x4, turned around (through loose gravel at the end of the parking lot), and raced to the finish line. The one with the best time won. I have enclosed photos of a few brave souls. Amazingly, NO ONE GOT HURT!
