The Egg Snatch is a timed rider and passenger event.  Four highway safety cones are placed down the middle of your standard twenty by twenty yard track.  On the top of each safety cone you place an uncooked raw egg.  On side of the track you place a small neck container of some kind that takes deliberate placement to drop an egg into.  A 5 gallon water bottle works well for this.

When the judge yells go and starts the stop watch the rider must without putting a foot down or hitting a cone ride down one side of the cones.  The passenger must pickup as many eggs as possible without cracking or dropping them. The passenger may not use any kind of container to hold the eggs.

Dropping or breaking an egg does not disqualify a team, but they will not be allowed to have their time compared to a team that finishes with more eggs.

After making the pickup pass the rider must turn the bike around and park it on the opposite side of the center line from the jug. The rider and passenger must both dismount.  The rider runs off the track next to the container and the passenger stands on the opposite side of the motorcycle.

The passenger must then throw the eggs one at a time to the rider.  The rider must catch each egg intact and drop it unbroken into the container.

When the last unbroken egg splats in the bottom of the container the judge stops the clock.  The winner is determined by the team with the most eggs to get dropped into the jug unbroken.  If there is a tie then the teams with the most eggs are ranked by total time elapsed from start to finish.
