So much has happened since I last updated.  Well the last thing I can truly remember, or that is still fresh in my brain is Stan Fest  what a great time.  Lucky me that I live in the great town of Canso and don't have to travel for it.   The only day I missed was Sunday...I was there Friday and Saturday and had a blast both times.  And after that everything was pretty quite until the 13th of Thursday and there was a fatal chopper crash just off of Canso.  Which was awful upsetting.  Four were rescued and three had died, it was hard to get what happened off your mind because it was all over the news and radio's.  And I went away that day and that's all you heard when you were in the stores or where ever they had a radio playing.  It just made you sick to your stomache.    But that's the news from down here...now I guess on with how me and Dominic are doing.  Dominic is doing great his talking is getting WAY better since he is has been off the medication...even though they say that it's not one of the side effects...but I sure say it should be labeled as one.  He was doing great talking, but as soon as he was put on that medication he went backwards instead of going forward.  But he is doing great now...and he's starting to play with other kids again...he had a few months there that he is cautious of other children...it seemed like he was scared to be around them...they made him feel uneasy and very jumpy from what I saw.  But he is doing better with that too.  He eats just about everything now, but hamburger...he doesn't like it...and of course green beans and rice...he hates those...but he tries and then ends up running to the garbage can...LOL  I've been doing alright...wasn't having the best of days the past few ones...been upset and kinda depressed...but like this weather it may pass just as fast as it came.  My first cousin, Amy, was down and we hung out Friday night and went out to the pub...had a few old laughs...danced, acted silly...just had a good time....this was actually the first time we ever went out together....weird...we were like really tight growing up...then we just lost touch after she moved to the city and was going through college...she didn't have long distance and I sure couldn't afford long distance...so we hardly heard from one another.  She wanted me to get her a copy of "The Witches"  the movie and I found it, now I can't wait to give it to her next weekend when she'll be home for a wedding.  Thank God for ppl getting married or I wouldn't see half my family EVER!  But anyways...Dominic is now waiting for the next sunny day to go outside and play with his slipn' Slide...he has a ball on it.  I'll have to attach a picture.  But for now I'm going to go relax...try to enjoy an hour or so of peacefulness now that Dominic is in bed and then go to bed myself.  I'll be back to update every once in a while...Laters!
