The red Bronco II is a parts truck I bought for $300 , it had a locked engine but good heads.
It has 3.73 posi gears, 5 speed, and good interior. This black 87 Bronco Ii is one I bought with 189,000 miles on it, and the tranny slipped. I paid $800 for it, and it is loaded with all the options. Currently, it is a test mule. I do all my experimentation on it first.
It has some computer ills currently, but runs ok and drives great. The interior is excellent. This green, er...well multi-colored Ranger is an 87 2.9 5speed that my son totaled.... twice... in less than a month. He flipped it in a snow drift first, then rear ended a full size 4x4 Chevy.
It had 164,000 miles, and still runs great. It has ran mid 15's in the quarter, but this was with a few computer tricks, no after market perfermance parts, 3.73 gears on short slicks, 180 degree thermostat, a little port matching, fooling the air temp and coolant sensor to thinking it was 30 degrees outside, no accessory belts, except to run the ps pump and alternator.It does'nt look like much right now, and this adds to the surprise of shiney new trucks I dust with it.
