So here's the story, morning glory. I was running around, doing a few errands with/for Alex and Sean on Tuesday, December 16, 2003. We had to stop at Needle's Hall to get a letter for me for some sort of insurance thing or something... Anyway, I had to fill out a form and I didn't know any of the stuff on it so I grabbed the form and left. Stuff is crazy, so many cars everywhere; a lot of people are moving this day. There's a car pulling into the spot in front of me as I am pulling out. I go to pull out, but then I stop, I think to make sure I didn't hit the car trying to pull in ahead of me, then I go to pull out again and this truck whizzes by me. My front end connects with his back end... I didn't know what the heck to do. We followed the truck along Ring Road until the stop sign. Alex got out and ran up to the truck to knock on his window- and he was right up at the window, but the truck just drove away! I didn't know what to do... we just finished our errands. The front end of my Sunfire had a crack and the signal light was out. I reported it the next day, we got the license plate of the truck and gave it to the U of W police and the guy said that he would try to track him down. It was my fault so yeah... But they measured the damage on my car and it's too low to have done anything to a truck! So I probably just hit his tire or maybe a bumper. I got my car looked at and it's going to cost a thousand bucks! Just for the cover and the piece of plastic under it. I can't believe it. It sucks so incredibly much. I am not happy at all. So now I cannot spend money on anything for the next year :-(. I'm going to have to be super cheap. The signal was just the bulb though, so it's fixed now, which is nice. There's just a crack. Oh and I said something about my car being dirty and Dan (the guy who is fixing my car, from whom I also bought this car) gave me a coupon for a car wash! And it was one of those ones you just drive through and the coupon was worth 12.50$ I couldn't believe it. They vacuumed and polished and everything and she looks gorgeous! Oh, my car needs a name. Give me ideas! |
