| I love conversation hearts. They rank right up there in the candy world with candy legos, chippa chups and coke bottles. I recently found a conversation heart that had the words "cheer up" on it. It immediately made me think of the popular emo phrase "cheer up emo kid". Yay for conversation hearts. Another cool thing about conversation hearts, there are the ones that say "UR CUTE", scratch off the "E" of "CUTE" and you are left with "UR CUT". Haha, hand that to someone on Valentine's Day, "UR CUT". Hee hee. While on the topic of Valentine's candies, how can one neglect to mention cinnamon hearts? Also commonly referred to as "cinnahearts". Recently we had access to a great number of these "cinnahearts" at a friend's house. Three of my friends in attendance proceeded with cinnaheart contests, (how can you not?). They were up to two handfuls each in their mouths by the end! Fat pudgy cheeks, tearing at the eyes, muffled squeaks emanate from their burning mouths. Discussing the pain after they described their salive as like swallowing thick cinnamon flavoured paste. They also each developed a common abdominal ache approximately a half hour after the main competition. And yet, we all kept eating the hearts. They're addictive. They really are. |
