| Wow, it's been a long time since I've written a ramble. I think that I am nervous about writing a crappy one and then everyone internally complaining about the rambles going downhill. "Ever since the room ramble, they've just gone downhill" "No no, I'd say the peak was way back with the Coke vs Pepsi ramble. I told myself she'd never top that and she never has. Now she's just trying too hard; it's really quite pathetic." Anyway, I wanted to put in a word about Kate (my christmas catcus). In fact she is blooming again! And this time she has like ten times more flowers on her! Needless to say, I am exceedingly proud. She has a place in our family room now, where the world can see. I have another plant too. I got it for christmas. But it is supposed to be in a cold dark place, like around ten degrees celsius or something. So it lives in the cold room. And no one ever sees it. And I always forget to water it. It's probably dead. I should maybe check on that plant. Yeah. Getting back to beautiful Kate the Cactus. I should just mention here her trip to Kitchener/Waterloo. We had all our stuff moved with a moving company but my fish and my cactus couldn't go in the moving van because they would die (it was also in storage for a month before we moved). So my fish and Kate got to hang out with us in the basement sweet for the month of July and then travel with us in the convertable across Canada. And they both made it unscathed. I don't think they were even severely traumatized. And now they are settling into their new home and Kate is as content as ever blooming away for Valentines Day. SO MANY FLOWERS ON MY CACTUS. Alas, I am very proud. |
