| The art of rambling | |||||||
| The art of rambling is also known as ranting. A rant, however is defined in the dictionary as being more offensive. Rambling is to talk or write without any clear thread. I think that is a good definition for what I will be doing for this composition. In I.B. the art of rambling is very frequently explored. It is a required skill for any I.B. student and by the end of the I.B. years it is very well developped. Oh, just a slight rabbit trail. Yesterday I didn't wear any make-up. Strangest thing, I don't think I have ever gone to school without make-up since, hmm, grade.. I don't even know. Seven? Eight? Maybe not. Maybe nine or something, but it has been a long time. And I felt odd. It felt strange to be able to rub my eye. And no one even noticed. Shows how much people pay attention to me... Jason noticed, but he didn't say anything. Matt didn't notice until I said something. I find this fact extremely interesting. Erik didn't notice at all- along with many others. Pierce was the only one who said something about it on his own before I told him. He said, "there's something different about you today, Morgan" I was expecting more of those. But no. But hey, that's alright. Just interesting. When I straightened my hair Courtney didn't recognize me. Anyhoesen. Back to rambling. Yes, important skill for the rest of your life. Taking up space without saying anything at all. Making it appear as if you know what you are talking about when you really don't. Very frequently used in everyday life. Good stuff. |
