RICH'S SHOW DIARY
August 2004
We're Baaack!!!

We were dead tired in the aftermath of the Catwalk show. I ended up with a nasty case of bronchitis, and the rest of the guys had battered and bruised right appendages from the vicious poundings they laid on their instruments that night. We were also a bit dehydrated, as it was hotter than Satan's asshole onstage in those leather jackets on one of the most humid days of the summer. Nothing was immediately lined up on the show front, so we decided to spend the next month to recover, and to learn a few new songs.

In that time, Hoagie ramped up his training for his first shot at the New York Marathon, Dan picked up a killer Marshall JCM900
(that's a guitar amp -Dan), and Greg and I both did some travelling. I spent the better part of a week in St. Maarten soaking up the sun, smoking Cuban cigars, and bemoaning the fact that you can't get a cab on the French side of the island after midnight.

Tanned and rested, we began attacking the new material with a vengeance. We can't wait to play the new (to us) songs for all of you. We'll be comin' atcha all over the greater Puget Sound area in the months to come, and may spring up a few other places unannounced. Stay tuned...
